Ice Candy/Freezie Holder

In the Philippines, it is called Ice Candy or Ice Pop. In other countries, it is also called Freezie. But whatever it is called, it is sure a treat to everyone, most of all for the kids.

Here in the Philippines summer almost never ends. Although this month the rainy season starts, it still gets hot sometimes. So on a hot day, an Ice Candy surely is in demand for my kids. But it can get messy and they often ask for a hand towel to hold the Ice Candy to protect their little fingers from the cold. So I got the idea of making a holder for them. They did love it and was so happy that it is not that messy anymore and they can hold the Ice Candy for long without their hands getting numb. But most of all they all love it.

That's how easy it is. A good stash buster and a good project also to practice your skill if you are only starting to learn crochet.
